Our Story

We build saunas that queues of guests put to the test

Most of this team's working hours go into projects that forgive nothing: gym saunas burning for a dozen hours straight, spa steam rooms cycling guests, hotel facilities graded by reviews. That is where our standard was forged — and Surabaya homeowners get the benefit of the very same standard.

Where we come from

My name is Artem. Kontraktor Sauna Surabaya grew up in a hard-working city: Surabaya is a port and industry town where gyms fill before office hours and airport hotels never truly go quiet. Our first clients were not luxury collectors — they were facility managers who needed a hot room that could not afford to fail mid-season.

That kind of demand educates fast. A sauna used by one family forgives plenty of small mistakes; one cycling guests from morning to night forgives none. Lazy ventilation shows within a week, a loose bench within a month, a wrongly classed heater dies by month three.

What we hold onto when we build

Engineered for the longest hour, not the average one. We size ventilation for the busiest slot and electrics for peak load — heat-rated SiHF heat-proof cabling, its own breaker circuit and an ELCB as the minimum standard, in houses and buildings alike.

Materials follow function. High-density thermowood for public rooms wiped with disinfectant daily; western red cedar for homes; aspen and abachi for every bench. Heaters are Harvia, Sawo or Tylo only — because we can hold their spare parts in hand, not just in a catalogue.

Surabaya's climate is respected, never fought. Humidity around 80% all year means the aluminium-foil vapour barrier, the air gap behind the panelling and supply-exhaust airflow are the lifeblood of the structure. A cabin that dries out fully every night is a cabin that grows old slowly.

Numbers up front, not at the end. Price ranges are published on the site, quotes are itemized line by line, and service contracts are offered together with the proposal — so a business owner sees the full cost of ownership before signing, not after.

Who you will actually deal with

The team is kept deliberately lean: carpenters who understand finishing, electricians who understand heater loads, and one coordinator who holds your chat from the first message to the test heat-up. You will not be passed between departments — the same few people stay on your project, and that is precisely the point.

The process stays simple: describe your project on WhatsApp, we survey free of charge, you receive a visualization and an itemized quote, a 50% deposit opens the build, and every handover closes with a full test heat-up plus a written 2-year structural warranty. For commercial facilities, a scheduled inspection plan can be agreed the same day.
